Amongst the partnerships we enjoy are those with the Fife Active Schools section and various governing Bodies in Sport.

The Sports Council is a member of the Scottish Association of Local Sports Councils (SALSC) and provides information on other sources of funding, including the Lottery and Sportsmatch initiatives.

Advice and support can also be given in applying for funding from other agencies.

The Fife Council grants scheme calls on those applying for aid to be members of their local Sports Council.

All amateur sports clubs who have a constitution and a democratically elected Committee are invited to affiliate to the Sports Council. This ensures a wide representation of sporting interest within the structure.

By affiliating to the Sports Council, member clubs can have two representatives at all Annual Special General Meetings, and other benefits described in this section.
